Q: Do I get to choose the exact vacation home or condo I will be staying in?
A: Yes. With Gondola Resorts, the properties you see on the website are the specific ones you will stay in. We feel this is best way to ensure your complete satisfaction with the home.
Q: How do I check in to the home?
A: At least 24 hours after your reservation is confirmed you will be sent all pertinent information regarding your accomodations which includes where to pickup your keys.
Q: How close are we to the ski area?
A: All our ski properties are in or near downtown Aspen. This is designed to offer our guests quick and easy access to skiing, snowboarding, shopping, dining, etc. Some of our vacation rentals are ski-in ski-out or walking distance, or a short 5 minute shuttle ride to the Resort's skier dropoff area. We also have private luxury homes within 1-3 miles of Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Buttermilk or Aspen Highlands ski areas. Our residence club condos at The Ritz-Carlton are ski in ski out to Aspen Highlands ski area which is 3 miles from downtown Aspen.
Q: Are there restaurants and shopping near the homes?
A: Yes. Shopping and restaurants are located within walking distance of 90% of our vacation homes. You will also have a choice of restaurants that offers delivery.
Q: Do I need to clean the home?
A: No. You are our guest in Aspen, and all the homes are professionally cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival and upon your departure. There is a mop, vacuum, broom, washing machine/dryer (select units), dishwasher and dust pan in the home for your use. If you would like a mid-week or daily maid service please call our Aspen concierge staff for details.
Q: Do I need to bring towels and linens to the home?
A: No. We provide you with the linens and towels. Each home has two sets of linens for each bed and ample towels.
Q: Are the condos non-smoking?
A: Yes. All vacation homes are non-smoking, which is strictly enforced. Guests are permitted to smoke on the patio area outside at some properties.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Yes. However, pets are allowed only at Independence Square and by request only.
Q: What do we need to do at check out time?
A: We just ask that you lock up, and place the keys on the kitchen table. Our staff will take care of the rest.
Q: If I have a problem with the home what do I do?
A: We are always here to insure you have a wonderful stay with us. We have a toll free 24- hour emergency number to call us in the very rare event you need us right away. This is why more and more people are choosing to stay in a vacation rental home while in Keystone. You have the privacy and luxury of a home with the service and amenities of a resort.
Q: How do I know I'm getting a good unit?
A: We provide very detailed photos, maps, room inventory, information and guest book comments about the actual unit you will be renting. Rent from others, and you may get the next condo on the list. Want to make sure you’re getting a good unit, see it online with complete photos.
Q: What’s included?
A: Our condos come fully furnished with everything from a Microwave, two or more TV’s, a VCR, a DVD player, linens and towels, dishes, pots and pans (right down to the corkscrew) and hair dryers. We sweat the details and start you out with supplies like shampoo, conditioner, Kleenex, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, soaps, trash bags, etc. We provide everything you expect from a fine hotel.
Q: How do I get to your checkin office from Aspen airport?
A: Upon arrival into Aspen/Pitkin county airport, call Smiddy Limousine Service. The courtesy phone can be found at the baggage claim area. Smiddy will provide free shuttle service to our checkin office for your entire group, compliments of Gondola Resorts. Rental cars can also be reserved via Gondola Resorts.
